There are many ways you can help change the destiny of the deaf in un-developed countries. Below are some of the giving opportunities available:

Sponsor A Teacher
There are very few teachers for the deaf in Cameroon. The government schools charge students and get a small subsidy from the government. But deaf schools often charge little or nothing because parents are unwilling or unable to pay anything...and most get nothing from the government.

Deaf schools are desperate for teachers but often have little to pay them. You, your church group, sunday school, can help a deaf school by sponsoring a teacher.

A gift of $50 a month, $600 per year, will help supply a desperately needed teacher and is a simple way you, your group, Sunday School or church can make a huge difference in the lives of deaf children. Sponsor a teacher now!

Buy ASL New Testament
Five disk DVD set contains the entire New Testament in American Sign Language. (Yes, ASL or a variant of it is used in many African nations).

Your gift of $35 will buy a brand new, in the box, ASL New Testament for a deaf person living in a developing country.

Donate a used laptop
Laptops are a great tool for learning, especially for the deaf. You can send us your (slightly) used laptop and will take it overseas and put it to work in a deaf school. (address at bottom of page)

Donate a 35mm SLR (film) Camera
Your older high quality film camera is still valuable in developing countries. Here in the USA digital cameras have eclipsed film cameras and made them worth next to nothing in resale value.

You can send us your 35mm film cameras (and any lens you might have for it) and we will bring them to deaf schools where they will sell them and use the money for their programs. (address at bottom of page)

Sponsor A Child
There is a simple way you, your group, Sunday School or church can make a huge difference in the life a deaf child. By sponsoring a deaf child you will help them escape a life trapped in silence and help discover their potential!
